5 out of 5 stars It brings a whole new meaning to `good with your hands   May 26, 2010
M. Palmer (Los Angeles, CA)
There are so many outstanding comments on the pureness of this book so I'll keep it concise.
1. Sooo easy to read! Great for students who are bored to death with `typical' textbook language
2. A massage therapists dream. This book takes this profession to the peak level with a FULL guide of the body. It brings a whole new meaning to `good with your hands'!
3. More than just a text on practical application. Its personable interface means that you'll retain much more of its contents and therefore will be a better practitioner for it.
The Magic Touch: How to make $100,000 per year as a massage Therapist by Meagan R. Holub is another easily understandable VALUE that teaches the highly grossing Business of massage. Now you don't have to be a typical MT making 20k a year. Meagan relays information on how to truly grow your career into a 100k/yr business. Together these texts are unstoppable!

Although it wasn't the version I was hoping, the book was in great condition and the seller was extremely helpful. I would purchase from him in the future.

5 out of 5 stars Helps You Palpate!   March 26, 2010
Christina A. Pertz (Ohio, USA)
If you're having trouble really figuring out where a muscle is, and how to find it on the body, this book will show you. It has illustrations of each muscle, origins/insertions, the actions, and sometimes it shows the movements with arrows, etc. It is also shows you how to palpate each muscle. Its a really fantastic book and so far has been very helpful. Its also nice to make copies of the pages and use them for flashcards, instead of buying the real expensive flashcards. You learn more by writing it all out while you make the flashcards. This book has been a great resource for me during my schooling. Highly recommended!
